Looking good!
I saw in the paper (http://www.virginiaandtruckee.com/InThe ... -22-TE.htm) that there were some 10-ton ore cars early on - were those these cars, or something else?

Another update - some improvements to the ground textures (though still a long way to go).
I also put placeholder cars in the approximate locations shown by Gerald Best (Historical Base Map 1869) just to get an idea of the scope of the project.

One thing that Andrew and I noticed is that some of the CP flats appear to use a flat strap instead of a tie rod. You can see that clearly in this crop from a Hart photograph (#350; Railroad Camp near Victory): flat_strap.jpg (Provided by the Stanford University Libraries; https://purl.stanford.edu/...
