Re: Baldwin Specification sheets

David, Thank you for the heads up. I was unaware that DeGolyer was doing this! I lost track of how long it took me to down load all of the current available reels, and they are nice. They're scanned in as good as they are on the microfilm. Only way to do it better would be to scan the actual books. ...

Re: Baldwin Specification sheets

David,

Could you please provide a link or information on where to find the Baldwin Specification sheets on the SMU / DeGolyer website?

Thanks,

Curtis F.

*EDIT*

Re: Consolidating the Baldwin 8-18C Data

I was asked to compile a list of all the 8-18C drawings that I knew of, and I've finally gotten around to doing it: Baldwin 8-18C - Surviving Drawing List

Re: Colusa & Lake RR

Brian, Andrew, I wanted to thank you both for the links to the CSU Chico photos. This morning was the first time I checked this thread and found the CSU Chico links working properly. I think there's enough information in those photos to make a fairly accurate map of Sites and the sidings at a couple...

Re: Gazos Creek Railroad

Not much else to go on just yet. There was a Gazos Creek Lumber Co. out in that area. Actually several lumber companies. A Brief history can be found in this Costal Watershed Council document. Also found this archived page Pescadero Memories with a short note on the lumber history on Gazos Creek. I...

Re: Morenci Southern / United States Potash #3

Yes, I have a batch conversion program that'll take care of the size and format in one go. When I get home this evening I'll convert the photos and send you an e-mail. I'll also double check to see if any have enough overlap with other photos that I can cull a few from the herd without loosing detai...

Re: Morenci Southern / United States Potash #3

OK, I just go back from Pomona. The good news is that in just the past couple of months the #3 had it's jacketing removed and all the "A" stuff removed from the boiler! The bad news is that she's looking naked in all the photos I took, no jacket, no air tanks, no air pump, etc. More good news is tha...

It's about time you showed up! I know your too busy to spend much time on the web but I know topics come up here that would interest you, and you work on projects and go places of interest here. Mutually assured destruction...wait  , that's not right, "mutually beneficial", that's what I mean...

Can do! I'm taking my laptop so I can clean off the memory card and shoot multiple sets. 8-)

And is Mike registered on this form yet? I've told him several times he needs to sign up!
