Magazine cases

I built a CNC router about a year ago and have been spending what idle time I can find learning how to use it and the programs needed to make it run. I am finally starting to get some work out that I can actually be happy with. Eventually I will be using this to do modeling work but so far I have be...

Re: V&T wooden ore cars

Ever hopeful for some additional information I came across Hart #67 looking at Alta from the south. Very hard to tell from the angle but it looks like they were using 4 wheel dump cars similar to those later used on the V&T. I don't believe they are the same as the door swing posts appear much talle...

Re: Churchill NV

I tried to upload one but got this message : "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

Is that message for me or in general?

Re: Winter Road Trip (NV/AZ/So Cal)

Hi Andrew,

Some photos of the travel town stock car that potentially has the C&TL&F Bliss trucks under it would be welcome. Especially with dimensions of the trucks or at least a yardstick held up to the photos.

Might see you there Randy as we are going also. I promise this time you won't have to winch us off a berm.

Carson & Colorado emblem

Hi All, Does anyone know if this was an emblem actually used by the C&C or was it a later invention for a fan map of the C&C? In ether case, does anyone have a larger or more detailed drawing or scan? I am playing with the drawing/milling software I recently acquired and want to make a large wood or...

Re: Bachmann 4-4-0 for the Carson and Colorado

James, No real progress since the last post. I shrunk it down to F scale and then started to modify it to make it durable enough to use. Mainly thickening the shell and doing away with the internal sheet metal. About that point I got distracted with my new robot which should make the creation of som...
