Re: V&T wooden ore cars

Thanks Andrew, I have not been able to do much in quite a while on these cars. I did do some work (finally) on the Truckee bridges. Thank you for posting these. I wish other Manufacturers were as proud of their rocker cars as Jackson and Sharp as I then might be able to find the V&T type! I still ha...

Re: Truckee River Bridges

It has been quite a while since I have visited my research project but I have done some additional cad work. Next task is to create the angle blocks with the tubes as referenced in the 'Railroad and Engineering Journal'. In the mean time please enjoy a couple of jpegs of my current cad work.

I was working on trucks myself sometime ago but ran into a lack of specific data on the trucks and went on to some other projects. The o...

Re: V&T wooden ore cars

I was wondering if anyone recognizes this photo and if they might know where I could find a better copy...? These cars appear very similar to the V&T cars.

Re: Maxwell Collection, future uncertain

When I had heard awhile back that the collection might go up for sale I fantasized about aproaching them and continuing the business that he had going. But, alas, I knew full well I would not have time to do it any justice. This idea could work though. Pease count me in. btw... what is the "big $$" ...
