Thanks Andrew, I have not been able to do much in quite a while on these cars. I did do some work (finally) on the Truckee bridges. Thank you for posting these. I wish other Manufacturers were as proud of their rocker cars as Jackson and Sharp as I then might be able to find the V&T type! I still ha...

It has been quite a while since I have visited my research project but I have done some additional cad work. Next task is to create the angle blocks with the tubes as referenced in the 'Railroad and Engineering Journal'. In the mean time please enjoy a couple of jpegs of my current cad work.

I will have to check. I have seen it in two books. One of them is the trains and technology series. the one in here I found in a generic picture book about railroads that I happened to have stumbled across.

Hi Craig, I agree, Sketchup is a great program. Easy learn and in full "scale" does not have much problem with artifacts. Some great work there that you have done. I was wondering if anyone recognizes this photo and if they might know where I could find a better copy...? These cars appear very similar to the V&T cars.

When I had heard awhile back that the collection might go up for sale I fantasized about aproaching them and continuing the business that he had going. But, alas, I knew full well I would not have time to do it any justice. This idea could work though. Pease count me in. btw... what is the "big $$" ...
