Nice work Ede!

Always great to see modeling by folks doing the restoration work.

Craig,

I believe Ede lives on the East Coast. He hasn't been involved in the restoration project physically, he was simply able to get John to send him images of the car as it sits presently. That information allowed him to finish his model.

The parts bins look nice...along with the interior weathering.

Three things jump out at me:
-what looks like prototypical wall thickness (as seen from the windows). Nothing ruins an otherwise perfect model more than by giving it paper thin walls. Glad to see more modelers paying attention to this detail!
-The ladder construction is sharp.
-The gorgeous trucks. They are just plain gorgeous.

Thanks for the coments on the parts car.Couple of things about me. I live in Calgary , Canada. Modeling the West Side lumber in 1.24 scale.I scratch build all my models.Try to be as close as possible to the original . On this project John from NCNG helped me with all the dimension to make this car possible. By the way the siding which i am proud of is cut by me and i still have all my fingers:). The trucks are from Russ Simpson and they come as a kit.

Good to see you on the forum Ede!

Did John get that siding sample done for you? I know he had it set aside when I was there. I am hoping to a take a nice sample of West Side "Red" for photographing in natural light for our paint section.

Ede,

Would you be willing to take some images of it outdoors, around noon?
