The On3 Carter Bros trucks look fabulous. If you finish up the HOn3 version I will definitely be a customer!

I'm working on them now. They'll have a few parts beefed up for printing, but I doubt that it'll be noticeable.

I don't quite have the formula down for HOn3 axles. The Kadee wheelsets have pizza cutter flanges which didn't get along with the test prints of these or the South Park trucks. I unfortunately could get any suitable HOn3 wheels when I visited Caboose Hobbies on vacation.

How about a virtual wheelset. I have a STL file of a NWSL 24" wheelset with 88 tread and 2mm pointed axle. The problem is that the forum will not allow me to upload a STL file.

Andrew, is there a listing of file types allowed for upload? STL, txt, dxf, and dwg don't work.

Those file types may be blocked, I will have to see if I can figure out how to allow them.
You might try zipping the files up, I think .zip is not blocked by default in the forum software.

stl, dxf and dwg should all be permissible file types now.

Andrew,
I just tried to upload a STL file and got the following message:
"The extension stl is not allowed."

Settings can never be straight forward... I added the extensions to a group that I expected to be allowed, but it was not.
It should work now. :)

Failed to download. But I've emailed Dave at NWSL and asked more info on his wheelsets/tips.

I was able to download the file and open it after installing SketchUp and the stl plugin.
When I opened the file I noticed SketchUp needed to repair it for some reason. I've adjusted the mime type of these files in the forum software to be handled differently, hopefully that corrects the issue.
