V & T / C & C common combination depots

The V & T and C & C had a number of combination depots with lengths from 40-50 feet. I've been puttering around with the V & T Franktown depot for a couple years now, and just started the 2nd MoundHouse (V & T) / Dayton (C & C) depot. Here's the Dayton depot (ca 1880's) so far:

One question I have is: Photos of the passenger end of the Dayton depot show a window above the overhang. The existing depot has a window underneath the overhang. Did these depots have two smaller windows; one above and one below the overhang?

Photos clearly show the window above the roof overhang (missing on today's depot) The current window shown in the photo seems to be original, and if so, two, both of which would both open into the upper story.
