IRCA 2-8-2 #152 with poppet(?) valve gear

Brian, I think that is Caprotti valve gear. It is my understanding the 28-2s that the IRCA had 32,000 pounds tractive effort.

John, they were all about 27,000 T. E.(the Mikados anyway) or there abouts.
The IRCA had 60Lb ASCE rail I believe, and they stuck to the Coopers E-27 loadings as their max, like the WP&Y and one other 3' RY that escapes me right now.
