Caption Not Entirely Accurate

While looking through the image gallery I noticed we had linked to the following image (California State Archives):


The caption calls it "Yosemite Short Line Railroad". Full Record.

Except, it's obviously not the YSL, after all the YSL was never built. The more I looked at it, the more I realized it wasn't narrow gauge at all and the flat car itself is a 24' former V&T flat (right down to the Sams coupler!). My guess is this image is: Standard Lumber or Hetch Hetchy.

Now to get the caption changed for future generations... ;)
