Randall V. Mills Collection

Post by Jeff Livingston » Thu Sep 13, 2012 4:31 pm

Some or all of you might be aware of this collection but it is new to me. I was sent two photos of Hawaiian equipment from the collection one of which is quite rare as it is of one of the few Dickson Manufacturing Co. locomtives to reach Hawaii. Anyway, info on the collection is at http://library.uoregon.edu/speccoll/photo/fmills.html . Might be something there of interest other than Hawaii

Yeah-the collection is large, and the quality of the pics that I did go through is good.

Are there any blueprints (aka; detailed & accurate engineering drawings) in that collection?

worlds slowest response...

I had an apartment within a few blocks of the library for a few years, but, sadly, only had enough time to briefly look at parts of two boxes. I did not notice any blueprints, but did notice that there were many more photos than are listed in the guide. One of these days Ill go through the collection a little more methodically.
