Ardenwood, Railfair

Postby Randy Hees » Tue Aug 28, 2012 11:19 pm

The loco is arriving Thursday, to be test fired Friday...

Most of the set up is Friday night, Saturday morning...

I expect to be working on the caboose (NWP 5591) most of the weekend...

There might be a second engine... (don't ask, just show up and see)

There is a dinner... there will be dinners out of the park...

I was hoping for photos after the event being I live in Portland Oregon and had to work that weekend. Now I find out about the new car barn from the Gazette. Any report forthcoming on the Railfair?

Here are a few I captured while there. Sorry for the delay, it slipped my mind...

Getting ready to depart.

Returning to the depot.

Our Engineer

These two were on hand to assist the steam crew. Their names escape me at the moment. Randy should know.

Group photo of the event crew and other stragglers.

Once I get the image gallery repaired, I will upload the detail and equipment shots.

Thanks for the photos, I can understand how things can slip through the cracks of the mind. ;)
