8-18c 4-4-0 Cab Interior.

Postby Tweetsiedude » Sun Dec 28, 2014 5:39 pm

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of, or has any good pictures of an 8-18c's cab interior. The "JD Locomotive Works" page is gone, and along with the company it seems; and that is where I was getting my references for the locomotive's cab from. I should have saved the images while I had the chance. I am working on some computer models, of 19th century NG locomotives. Any help would be much appreciated it. These models are for a simulator game.

Rock On!

Dusten,

I will work on getting more photographs of the cab interior of North Pacific Coast "Sonoma" uploaded to the gallery this weekend.

I have a ton of photos of the Eureka interior. What are you after? I can email you the pictures if you like. JD locomotive Works dissolved in April 2014. I will be opening the new business shortly.

Dusten: I have uploaded 30+ photos of Sonoma including a handful of cab shots. There are also some images of Sonoma's original cab as it is stored (disassembled) at the California State Railroad Museum. I have plenty more to upload, but I may have run out of interior shots for the time being.

Jesse: I can create a gallery account for you if you'd be interested in sharing your photographs here on the site.

Thank ya'll so much. An email of Eureka's cab would be perfect. I am working on an 8-18c computer model for a computer simulation program. I want it to be as accurate as I can get it.

I've modified the backhead a lot more, I've not been able to get a screenshot of it recently. I've been going on by eye, and what info I've had at the time.
