Re: V & T / C & C common combination depots
The Franktown depot had an upper window as shown in your photo. The depot was built without the roof overhang and had upper windows per photos and 1916 Valuation sketches.

Re: Caboose No 9 in Trainz
Nice job Curtis. I've been working with Wendell on getting some lamps for the 9. Wendell has a couple of side lamps that he's going to use, but was missing a third lamp. I came across a couple of Candle Lamps that could be used. At first he didn't think they would work until I came across a letter t...

Re: Our First Group project, V&T 9 & 10
Graig, The side door opening should be 42" wide, trim should be 3 1/4 - 3 1/2" wide. The door is 43 1/2" wide, which gives you 3/4" overlap each side. The end door opening should be 25 1/4" wide, trim same. The door is 26" wide. Based on original measurements of the car. Note that the side door was ...

Re: Our First Group project, V&T 9 & 10
The 1875 date is based on newspaper accounts of two cars being rebuilt and to be run at the end of the passenger train. The only problem is the newspaper doesn't give the car numbers. We do know that cars 1 & 2 were rebuild in 1873 and renumbered 8 (No. 1) and 7 (No. 2) based on newspaper accounts t...
