The &amp;quot;Francis&amp;quot; was taken to Death Valley Junction and used in construction the of the Death Valley Railroad. The &amp;quot;Marion&amp;quot; remained in Ludlow until it was sold to the Modoc Lumber Co. in 1918 and used on their Williamson River Logging Co. near Chilcoot, OR. Around 1922-1925 the locomotive was converted to standard gauge. In 1925 L. B. Menefee and later Forest Lumber Co. took over the operation until the railroad was abandoned in 1939. The little &amp;quot;Marion&amp;quot; is believed to have been scrapped at that time&lt;br /&gt;
