3' Gauge. Constructed to bring supplies to Dawson City, YT during the Klondike Gold Rush, the WP&Y operates through some of the most breathtaking scenery in North America. Freight operations ceased in 1982 and since 1988 the line hauls thousands of tourists annually.

Baynes Sound Colliery Company.
36" Gauge. Tramway constructed to haul coal from the mine to a wharf at the company town of Quadra on Baynes Sound. A drop in market price left the company unprofitable as the result of depressed market prices. The mine was closed in 1878.

Dolly Varden Mines Railway.
36" Gauge. The Dolly Varden Mine proceeded some of the richest silver ore ever discovered. In 1917 the company constructed a railroad from the mine to an ore bunker and wharf at Alice Arm. Operations were short lived and the line shut down due to litigation in 1921.
