Tramhouse Front

Closeup of front of tramway terminal. Ore buckets entered on right side, quickly run off cable onto overhead track, dumped, then sent on that track around to other side, run back onto left cable and sent back to mine. Two heavy, rigid cables at top are carrier cables; lower, lighter cables (with slight sags) are moving cables which automatically detach from incoming buckets and then reattach to outgoing empty buckets. Yellow bars with steel netting now keep over-zealous tourists from falling over edge.
